It can be changed either using a remote control or through an App. The remote control works within 10 metres, while it is not limited if APP controlled. It has a twisting hose that is flexible and can be rotated up to 360° and be flipped up to 180°. Not to mention, you need to connect it to a power supply for it to work.

Love this thing! I mean if you buy it, you know what you are after. We aren’t big into social media posts but we appreciate some well placed mood lighting. It has some nice features like fading or smooth transition. You can also choose a single color to keep it on. Do yourself a favor and don’t hit “strobe” unless you want a headache. One person already pointed out (and I agree) that the only real downside to this thing is that in order to change the light or effect, you have to point the remote right in front of the light. God help you if you happened to put it into “strobe” setting (and you have to try to run directly into the light, squinting your eyes and change the setting.) seriously though- this was a great, quirky, little item for our house. And no messing with sketchy apps… just a good old remote 🙂

This light is amazing. The combination of different lights can be used to support any mood. It gives a definite glow to any room it is in. The remote is a little complex but you soon get used to it. Definitely cheers the room up.
