does the job. Has the battery – interesting. But not bright enough. Hate to triple-press to get most brightness every time. Button has produces powerups since its whatever-touches it like cables or whatever. Proprietary power cable easily lost.
Darksky –
Very pleased with this fantastic desk lamp with 3 settings that I needed one just in case for emgerancies like power cuts – we never know if it’s true or not about energy cutting off during the dark evenings, I can charge this item with a power bank – fabulous! It’s very useful to have this lamp that I could relax to read my all-in kindle or doing knitting/cross stitching or carry it upstairs – it’s so light! Will order another soon for my bedroom :
Dawn –
bought two in case we have power cuts this winter. They are lightweight, so can easily be carried around the house. The bendable lamp can be directed to light up a kitchen worktop or read a book, etc.
My only warning is that the switch on the base of the lamp is very sensitive and I have found my lamp unknowingly switched on at times, but now I am aware of this it’s not a problem

This is very disappointing. It takes an absolute age to charge, and then the maxium brightness, which is only just bright enough, last a very short time.
Poor all round. A waste of money. Unfortunately I can’t return it now, as I didn’t begin to use it until a while after I’d bought it, and had gone on previous good reviews.

Brought this to help on saving electricity costs as I run on economy 7, having lights on during the evening costs more, this little light is fab, excellent price, excellent brightness, I can do my cross stitch, knitting with this light and perfect for those dark evenings, runs for at least 2 evenings, goes a little dim but use my power pack and away it goes, bringing a fab light to my lounge , then at night, can charge the lamp up and use the next evening with no cables, so can move it around depending what hobby I’m doing, only thing is, the base is a little lite and topples at times but apart from that a great little light !!

As title says, it does the job but the base of the lamp is so light that you’re a lot more limited on positioning for it than you’d think. Also very easy for it to fall over in general because of that, and the very end of the lamp has not been sanded down and smoothed out so it is actually quite sharp when it impacts say the back of your hand between the bones after falling off a table… Sharp enough to cut you, as the cut and bruise on the back of my hand now show.
Pineappel –
Has a couple of settings and is minimal and yet gives a great light. Very economical light and plenty light for reading before bed. It looks great too, very trendy. My daughter loves it.

This is a super little lamp. Very versatile. The description is a little misleading, as it definitely doesn’t give a warm light in any mode. You can easily dim and brighten the light, but in any mode, it’s a very white light. Not a problem, but was hoping for a warmer light.

Very bright desk lamp and even works for a short time when not plugged into a USB port, I didn’t realise this when i bought it so must have some sort of internal battery. It isn’t the tallest of desk lamps but i use it for my laptop and is perfectly sized. You can bend it easily in any direction and worth the money.
