The free shipping service is only a standard 1st class service and delivery times are estimated only and cannot be guaranteed. We recommend that if a shipment is urgent or requires a tracking service upgrade to a more guaranteed service.
We estimate this service can sometimes take up to 5 working days for delivery but more are delivered within this period we have no control over the delivery times/process. Items abroad can sometimes take up – 3 business working weeks but once again, most are delivered within this time slot.

have now bought several of these cameras. I use one to keep an eye on the house whilst I’m away from home, and I use another to keep a check on my elderly Dad, we also have one set up in our caravan. The app seems to work okay, although I have had a few issues with the camera stopping working and have had to reboot it.
As with all cameras of this type, the night vision through a window is not great, as the infra-red bounces off the glass and just gives a glaring effect. The one inside gives good night vision in the home.
I would recommend these cameras, bearing in mind the things I have mentioned above.

nice camera sat on a stable base. The images are sharp and saturated. Barrel distortion is, of course, unavoidable with wide angle lenses. I like the fact that the camera can be remotely steered left-right and up-down. On an iPad screen one can also zoom in using the spreading two finger method.
Setting up the camera is straightforward using the app, which runs on iPads or Android devices. It would be nice if control via a secure webpage were possible, enabling the use of PCs and Macs….or apps specifically for these devices. As far as I know this isn’t possible.
Users should be aware that streaming from remote cameras fairly quickly drains the batteries on mobile devices. In fact, an iPad, even with a 2.1A charging lead plugged in, drains the battery. Yikes!
False motion detection alerts can occur with outdoor Tapos (spiders and raindrops usually) but this indoor model has been trouble-free. Archived streams, activated by motion detection, are stored on a micro SD card in the camera but cloud storage is available free for a month and rented thereafter. No tricks here, you opt in after a month and don’t have to opt out of a previously arranged contract. The consumer organisation Which? questioned online security and apparently this has been addressed.

I bought my first camera to watch my rear garden and was I happy I did. The picture quality is really good during the day and night time. The camera setup was really easy and fittting it took around 15 minutes on my own. It comes with a card that has the holes marked out for you so easy to drill the correct holes (except if you’re me as I still got one wrong but camera is solid on wall and connected to the internet. You do get Tapo Care free for a month if you want to watch your recordings and alerts or you can add an SD card and view them from the mobile application. I was so happy with this camera that I bought a second for my front garden.
The only drawback is that their is no pc application to view your camera but you can use the android app via Bluestacks. I am happy with this camera as quailty is good, price was fair and I can now check on my property anytime of the day as long as you have mobile data.

Very pleased with these. The picture quality is good and the software works well. You can pay a subscription for more advanced features but they work perfectly well without. You don’t have to physically access the microSD cards to view recorded video, that can be done over wi-fi.
There are only two (quite small) issues.
One is the motion detection sensitivity. Even at its lowest setting rain will regularly set them off. If you have alerts to your phone switched on that can be a pain. But switch the alerts off while it’s raining and there’s no issue. They still record and you can review later if you need to.
The second is that, while the power cable is quite long, the camera end of the cable is short. The connector has a waterproof seal, but if you’d rather keep that covered you need a waterproof housing close the the camera.
All in all very good cameras, much better than I expected for the money, and free to run unless you need cloud storage for recordings. (They do produce an RTSP stream, so if you’re a tech wizard you could record to a home server too).
