This speaker is vibration-proof, rain-proof, has good volume and an excellent battery life. I’ve had mine about six months with absolutely no issues. I connect to a smartphone via bluetooth which never drops the connection. I use the smartphone’s equalizer to modify the sound for outdoor use which usually means lowering the treble. The 10 hour battery does last that long and the speaker will tell you when it needs charging with an automated voice message that sounds like a lady from in-car GPS system. I would highly recommend this item and although I would prefer a speaker with a higher wattage for slightly better quality at full volume I would buy again.

Sound is pretty good, beefy, it carries well.
I love the fact that it has a Micro-SD-Card reader so I can stick whatever music I want on a card, stick it in and not have to worry about that rubbish standard known as bluetooth or using phone battery or having to muck about with a phone what-so-ever. [edit] Being able to forward/rewind to tunes without having to look at the speaker is great when cycling.

This part of review is after using it for about 2-3 weeks, 5 days a week for about an hour.. or an hour and a half.
So far we have been through moderately rainy weather and a minimal of about +2 degrees
This is quite much better than a 3W speaker that I had used before but it is definitely not perfect
