TEMPERATURE CONTROL:

Height adjustable coal tray featuring a stainless steel handle with 4 settings accommodates the right amount of heat required.
MORE GRILLING CONTROL:
- Variable heat distribution around the grill enables you to cook different meats and vegetables with different requirements simultaneously. A stainless steel warming rack keeps the food warm once it’s cooked and a door at the front of the barbecue allows the easy movement of coal without having to touch the grill.

We’ve used ours 4 times now when camping, confident we will use it at least another couple of times and even if we bin it after that I would get another as this is miles better than using disposable ones! Decent cooking area – 6 sausages, 4 burgers, several slices of courgette and halloumi all fitted on here!

Good grill to take away, fits one bag of instant light charcoal. Some of the plastic has come off due to heat.

I got my first use out of this grill on a recent camping trip abroad. There are a few issues to deal with, but the price is about right.
The good:
– It is light weight, easy to carry and easy to setup. As you would expect with a portable BBQ, it is’nt heavy, it did’nt take up much room in my car and setup took a matter of minutes.
– Cooking was absolutely fine. As others have stated, the charcoal is really close to the grill but just wait for the flames to completely die down and it should be OK.
– There is’nt much of a mess left after. The charcoal, grill and metal are easy to clean up.
The bad:
– The metal is quite flimsy, the legs especially. It does the job in keeping the whole thing off of the ground, but it would’nt take much to topple over.
– After one use, the grill became concaved (as you can see in my picture). I’m not sure how many more uses I’ll get out of it before this needs replacing.
– The grill became jammed in its slot a couple of times for me; which forced me to wriggle it around for a while trying to get it out.
Overall:
For the price it does the job. Even if you only manage to get a few uses out of it, it should work out cheaper than constantly buying disposable BBQs. If it were a bit more expesnive I would give it 3 stars, but because of the price I’ll give it 4.
