The projector really gives movies a cinematic experience on a budget! I did some research on projectors before I made this purchase and thought this was an amazing deal compared to lots of pricier projectors. I did not see the need in 4k as 1080p is still very much good enough. This has 4k capabilities but do take into consideration this is upscaled, meaning the image is literally stretched to meet the 4k aspect ratio. I will be honest though the picture really did surprise me. It is bright and vibrant and offers a brilliant level of sharpness.
The lamp life is an important feature for me as I don’t want to go out and buy a new projector every so many years. This projector seems to be one that will last me many years. Here is the fun part, I plugged in my ROKU stick and was able to watch ROKU on this You can also “cast” movies, live tv shows and sports games from your phone to your projector using wifi or your phones 5G. This is a fantastic feature as it opens up an abidance of opportunities. Im able to easily cast YouTube videos straight to the big screen. You will need a stable wifi connection to ensure that the image is lag free and watchable but luckily mine is very good.
The casting runs very smoothly and what I see on my phone is what I see on the screen, simultaneously. Im projecting an image out at 100 inches and I would say this is the sweet spot for sure. It can easily project double that but at 100 inches the screen was very clear. You can just focus the image manual with the dial along with key-stoning if you are projecting at an odd angle.
AS mentioned the screen casting is great but their is an abundance off ports you can play around with too. The two USB ports are great for allowing you to playback movies or media files straight from a usb stick. I downloaded a 4k video and was able to get a projected 4k upscaled image on the wall. It looked crystal clear and very impressive.
The built in speaker isn’t great but I think thats to be expected for the price. Unfortunately there isn’t any built in bluetooth but I was able to buy a cheap adapter online that allowed me to connect up to my surround sound completely wirelessly. This took the entire cinema setup up to a whole other level. Having those speakers connected up externally and not relying on the built in speaker allows for a very cinematic experience on a budget. The projector, screen and speakers all cost me a total of under four hundred pounds. Now I think thats pretty impressive for a complete at home cinema setup.
This projector is a bargain for the price. The versatility it has partnered up with the mirror casting functionalities, make for an all round budget option that can full-fill a variety of needs. Be it for light gaming, movie viewing or presentations I can’t recommend enough. The image is very impressive for a projector at this price point.

For the price, I don’t think there is much better available on the market. The picture quality is native 1080p and the image is very crystal clear. It supports up to 4k as well which is very good for newer consoles or Apple TVs, Firestick, Roku etc. As you can see in the last few pictures, it still appears very bright with the bedroom lights on, but even brighter when the lights are off. The fourth picture shows the keystone correction and lens focus to make the picture the best possible for the distance away from the wall. Keystone correction covers a big range of angles as can be seen from my image of the projection being angled. This was done from the stand that is inbuilt to the projector which is also a very nice touch.
As you can see on the last picture as well, I used the Apple Airplay feature which is so useful to play music from Spotify to test the audio quality which is also very high. While the fan is fairly loud, the audio is much louder which masks the fan sounds.
There are many options for connectivity as well, with 2 x hdmi, 2 x usb, AV jack and then a headphone jack if you want to connect an external speaker. The remote is also very easy to navigate with, also allowing you to customise picture and video settings if you have preferences for colours, contrasts or bass heavy etc.
It also comes in an easy to carry backpack which makes it easy to keep everything in one place. I wouldn’t say the projector is mini but definitely easy enough to take around and carry places as it isn’t too heavy. A nice bonus is the cleaning products it comes with to ensure the lens always stays dust free.
My only two negatives with the product is that the power cord could be longer as it is only a metre (eg: if you want to mount the projector like I do), and that there are no batteries for the controller which is fairly standard to be honest.
TLDR, very good projector (both visual and audio) and such good value for money – defo recommend!

My son is obsessed by our projector and having a compact room means that he couldn’t get a TV where he wanted it in his room in order to watch his shows, so a projector seems like the ideal solution.
This one is now hung in front of his window pointing forwards with the screen hung down in front of his wardrobe creating a separate space for his clothing from his bed and also makes it feel like a full cinematic experience.
He always watches it with the blinds closed so haven’t seen it in full light, but the colours are really vivid and clear, setup was really easy and the device connection was very straight forward.
Sound is also really clear, to the point that i have to tell him to turn it down as he really does think it’s a cinema in there.

Great bit of kit never had one before so went for something mid price range with good reviews works great in the summer house for films and music videos easy connect to your iPhone over the internet but you need a good Wi-Fi signal i opted for a hdmi to iPhone cable to plug straight into the projector and you get better picture and no delay between pictures and sound
Great bit of kit for the price .

Great picture, versatile software. Connection via iOS and android over wifi can be frustrating. Works best on media direct from laptop (apple OS or windows) via cable (supplied) or by media on a usb stick.

I am really happy happy with this Wimius S26 mini projector. My partner and I always wanted to get a projector to be used either indoors or in the garden. It was delivered the next day, it came neatly tucked in a stylish bag, along with a power cable, remote control, a HDMI cable, instruction booklet. Looks great and feels nice to touch. It was supper easy to set up, basically plug and play. The projector has a multiple connectivity options, 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports which is very practical.
The quality of the picture is very good and crystal clear. The projector can be put on any surface and even on an angle as the corners can easily be adjusted for the screen to be flat on the wall. The picture gets even better the dimmer the lights and gives the cinema film experience. I connected the projector to my laptop and reflected the picture to the wall. There is a focus lens on the side which is very easy operate in order to make the picture more clear, depending on the distance between the projector and the wall the focus lens needs to be adjusted to focus the picture. My partner and I watch an episode of one of our favourite TV show and it was a great experience. The built in speaker is also very good and provides very good sounds quality. The picture can also be easily flipped if you are thinking to fix the projector to the ceiling with one push of a button. The projector can also very easily be connected to the internet and then it could be used for screen mirroring with a phone which is very handy.
My overall thoughts are that this is very very good projector, the picture is great, the sounds is great, the size is compact, it looks stylish and feels quality. Would buy it again.
